Abstract submissions are open through March 1, 2024

Submission Instructions


Please submit your abstract using the form to the right.

The abstract should be no more than 350 words and include the following:

1) Motivation - why is this an interesting and important problem?

2) Fit with Macro-Energy Systems. Click here for an overview of MES.

3) Methods and results. Results may be preliminary or prospective.

If your abstract is accepted, you will be expected to do a lightning talk, as well as a poster presentation.

Lightning Talks are 5-minute presentations on research conducted by the MES Community.

A Poster Session will follow the Lightning Talks where presenters will have the opportunity for more intimate conversations with the MES community and those in attendance.

IMPORTANT: submit your abstract as a PDF in the format “Lastname_Firstname”. Please do not include any identifying information in the text of the PDF. The abstracts will be judged on blindly. Following these guidelines will ensure anonymity and fairness for all submissions. Failure to comply could result in the automatic withdrawal of your submission.
